Job summary

RoShay Services in Alabama is seeking a hands-on Lead Engineer to guide mass production, business planning, and new model development in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes safety, quality, delivery, cost control, and driving continuous improvement through data-driven PDCA cycles, equipment performance monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will manage projects, mentor team members, balance office and shop-floor work, and support overtime or travel as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Engineering or related field and 0–6 years’ experience.
• Proficiency with industry-standard software.
• Strong communication, leadership, troubleshooting and project management skills.
• Demonstrated self-motivation, team orientation and technical expertise are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement innovative technical activities in Mass Production, Business Planning, and New Model development.

Job description

Role Overview: Lead and implement innovative technical activities in Mass Production, Business Planning, and New Model development to meet safety, environmental, quality, delivery, cost, and morale targets.

Key Responsibilities: Communicate effectively across organization levels, analyze reports to identify gaps, develop solutions using data and PDCA, monitor equipment performance, train team members, prioritize tasks, manage project schedules and budgets, test new technologies, and control costs.

Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Engineering or related field, 0-6 years’ experience, proficiency with industry-standard software, strong communication, leadership, troubleshooting, and project management skills. Demonstrated self-motivation, team orientation, and technical expertise are essential.

Working Conditions: Hands-on troubleshooting in manufacturing environments, use of tools and automation equipment, with a balance of office and shop floor activities. Possible overtime, weekend support, and travel required.
