Job summary

Responsibilities include developing methods, setting up and maintaining equipment, training operators, and mentoring other technicians, with emphasis on PLC programming and ladder logic. This is a full-time on-site position with a 4/10 schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent or an associate degree with relevant experience.
• Minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience or 4 years with an Associate’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing methods and tools for fabricating precise mechanical and electronic components.
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot manual and automated assembly, inspection, and test equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to troubleshoot and resolve yield issues and improve efficiency.
• Train production personnel in new or existing operations.
• Set-up and validate new production workstations.
• Implement corrective actions involving designs, materials, and processes.
• Incorporate new methods and processes to improve existing operations.
• Mentor other manufacturing technicians.
• Support new PLC ladder logic programming and hardware assembly builds.
• Read and edit existing ladder logic PLC programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
