Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 4+ years of related experience, or graduate degree with 2+ years; in lieu of a degree, 8+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and support related to manufacturing equipment controls.
• Develop equipment safety and technical specifications.
• PLC programming.
• Identify and fix intermittent equipment controls issues.
• Upgrade legacy equipment.
• Develop interface systems for internal operations.
• Support knowledge base systems and information sharing.
• Backup old and new equipment to a central server.
• Vision system programming.
• Robot troubleshooting and programming.
• Automate processes to save time and reduce costs.
• Review and update operational processes.
• Plan and implement effective systems to boost manufacturing.
• Interface with vendors and prepare Statements of Requirements.
• Prepare capital equipment requests and proposal estimates.
• Travel up to 10%.
