Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is actively seeking a Manufacturing Technician B in Cincinnati, OH. You will perform environmental tests on production and development hardware, operating test equipment and following procedures with safety in mind.

Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and program managers to coordinate testing, report results, and address issues. Strong PC skills and attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or equivalent with 4 years relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of related experience.
• Preferred: knowledge of setting up and running environmental test equipment.
• Proficiency with PCs and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for following product test procedures, equipment operation and sound safety practices to perform environmental tests on production and development hardware.
• Work with engineers, technicians and program managers to coordinate testing, report results and address issues and failures.
• Set up and program data acquisition and environmental test equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning mechanical, electo-mechanical and electronic test equipment.
• Perform calibration and routine preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Set up and program data acquisition and environmental test equipment.
• Work autonomously on assignments requiring judgment and initiative.
