You will develop training materials, document standard work, and drive continuous improvements with Engineering, Operations and Quality teams.

By joining our team, you'll have the opportunity to work in a rewarding workplace with a strong sense of community.Job Description:AriensCo is looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Technician at our Fayetteville, TN location to support manufacturing operations by analyzing tooling and process requirements for new products and engineering changes, maintaining process and labor data, coordinating process trials, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. This role partners closely with Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams to implement process improvements, research new manufacturing methods, interpret production and quality data, develop training and standard work documentation, and proactively solve technical and operational challenges that support continuous improvement and future growth.THE DAY TO DAY...Analyze needed tooling and process steps for all engineering changes and new productsSetup/revise process data: Including information about on time and material usage to produce the various parts involving to perform time studies or even produce some prototype parts to get accurate data to enterStudy’s existing process and designs and executes experiments/tests looking to improve efficiency (a new tool, change to a build order, adding or deleting a task or step)Coordinates Process Trials on any changed or new product has a process as part of its launch, to include packagingInterprets data from the quality reports and determines needed actions to operationsResearch’s new process and investigates new ways to do our tasks, research out how other companies process similar parts to find the best solution, to include packaging and safe handling techniquesWorks with NPD Engineering and Operations to recommend best practice procedures and techniques in producing parts or productsTraining and documenting: Working with the manufacturing teams operators in a particular task or how a piece of equipment works and may document a process, creating a training aid/standard work for a processThe manufacturing engineering technician will be proactive in problem solving and will be involved in safety, productivity, quality and future state planning eventsTHE QUALIFICATIONS...High School Diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing roleDemonstrate ability to lead and implement continuous improvement projects in order to achieve value stream goalsSolid Works or equivalent CAD experience preferredMust demonstrate attention to detail and be able to integrate new and old equipment designs and layoutsAbility to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, CAD drawings, and legal documentsAbility to respond to inquiries or complaints from employees, customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business communityAbility to effectively present information to employees, management, and/or public groupsAbility to define problems; collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsAbility to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical, or drawing form; and deal with several abstract and concrete variablesApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.About AriensCoSince 1933, the AriensCo name has been associated with reliable, durably crafted, high-performance outdoor power equipment.
