Epiroc in Garland, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to provide hands-on support for manufacturing processes, tooling, and production methods. You'll work with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure safe, efficient, and repeatable operations.

Responsibilities include implementing and improving processes, troubleshooting on the shop floor, creating work instructions, collecting data, supporting NPI, and driving Lean initiatives such as 5S and

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2+ years in manufacturing, production support, industrial technology, maintenance, or related field preferred.
• Technical certificate or associate degree in Manufacturing/Engineering Technology preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• Experience supporting Manufacturing Engineering activities is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.

Mansioni

• Support Manufacturing Engineers with implementing and improving processes, tooling, fixtures, equipment, and production methods.
• Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to identify and implement effective solutions.
• Develop, maintain, and improve work instructions, process documentation, standard work, and manufacturing records.
• Collect and analyze production data to support engineering studies, process improvements, production standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in root cause investigations and support corrective actions related to production and quality concerns.
• Assist with Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, waste reduction, and standard work implementation.
• Support installation, validation, and implementation of manufacturing equipment, tooling, fixtures, and production resources.
• Assist with plant layout changes, workstation improvements, material flow optimization, and process implementation activities.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities by preparing production areas, tooling, documentation, materials, and processes.
• Provide direct technical support and training to production personnel on new processes, tooling, and manufacturing methods.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with company quality systems, safety standards, and ISO requirements.
