Our client is a global manufacturer focused on precision components and advanced injection molding technologies. Their culture emphasizes continuous improvement, safety, and collaboration, and they are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support process reliability and equipment performance across the production floor.

Position Overview

The Manufacturing Engineering Technician will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and play a key role in equipment maintenance, process improvement, and production support. This is a hands-on role for a technician who thrives in a dynamic, team-based manufacturing environment and brings strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Schedule

This position follows a 12-hour shift schedule: 3 days on, 3 days off, rotating to cover some weekends and holidays as part of the standard shift cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support manufacturing processes by maintaining and repairing production and facilities equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC systems
  • Participate in the development and implementation of equipment parameters to ensure product quality
  • Execute preventive and predictive maintenance per internal systems (e.g., MaintainX)
  • Operate and maintain conveyors, robots, chillers, motors, EOATs, and other automated equipment
  • Assist in robotic path development and programming to support new product launches
  • Identify non-conformities and recommend solutions to maintain quality and process stability
  • Calibrate equipment to ensure repeatability and compliance with control plans
  • Provide feedback and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Train production personnel in application methods and control plan requirements
  • Maintain detailed logs of maintenance and process activity
  • Work safely and in compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience is required
  • Experience with industrial controls and injection molding equipment strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with robotics, CNC equipment, and PLCs is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows environments and basic computer troubleshooting
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities, and contribute to team goals
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Must be available to work rotating weekends and holidays
