Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support maintenance, optimization and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment. The role partners with the engineering team to support tooling, improve lines and troubleshoot processes.

The position requires a technical/associate degree and 5+ years of manufacturing or process technician experience. Strong hands‑on skills with equipment, fixtures, tooling and the ability to read blueprints are

Qualifications

• Technical/associate degree.
• 5+ years of experience as a manufacturing or process technician.
• Hands‑on skills installing, setting up and fine‑tuning equipment, fixtures and tooling.
• Reading blueprints, process sheets and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Supports maintenance, adjustment and fine‑tuning of equipment, fixtures and tooling while prioritizing safety.
• Provides technical support to operations to hold process standards and cycle times.
• Performs tests, measurements, capability studies and process documentation.
• Supports process‑improvement and problem‑solving projects on the floor.
• Maintains process sheets, work instructions, and visual aids, ensuring documentation standards for equipment settings and process changes.
• Supports optimization of production lines.
• Supports equipment commissioning, startup, and process validation activities.
• Responsible for data collection, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
