Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation in Fort Worth, TX is hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support maintenance, optimization and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment.

You will work with the engineering team on tooling, line improvements, and process troubleshooting, documenting changes and ensuring safety. Requires technical/associate degree and 5+ years of hands-on experience; preferred manufacturing/mechanical background; competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Technical/associate degree required.
• 5+ years of experience as a manufacturing or process technician.
• Hands-on skills reading blueprints and work instructions.
• Knowledge of measurement tools and lean practices.

Responsibilities

• Supports maintenance, adjustment and fine-tuning of equipment and tooling with safety in mind.
• Provides technical support to operations to maintain process standards and cycle times.
• Performs tests, measurements, capability studies and process documentation.
• Runs process-improvement projects on the shop floor.
• Maintains process sheets, work instructions and visual aids with proper documentation.
• Supports production line optimization and equipment commissioning.
• Collects data, analyzes root causes and implements corrective actions.
• Assists with startup and validation activities.
