Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Lead Technician to support maintenance, optimization and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment. You will work hands-on with the engineering team to improve lines, troubleshoot processes and enable safe, efficient production.

Required: technical/associate degree and 7+ years as a manufacturing or process technician. Preferred: trades in manufacturing/mechanical, reading blueprints, and using inspection

Qualifications

• Technical/associate degree.
• 7+ years of experience as a manufacturing or process technician.

Responsibilities

• Leads maintenance, adjustment and fine-tuning of equipment, fixtures and tooling while prioritizing safety.
• Provides technical support to operations to hold process standards and cycle times.
• Performs tests, measurements, capability studies and process documentation.
• Supports process-improvement and problem-solving projects on the floor.
• Maintains process sheets, work instructions and visual aids.
• Supports the optimization of production lines.
• Responsible for data collection, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
• Leads equipment commissioning, startup, and process validation activities.
