Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Lead Technician to support the maintenance, optimization and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment at a Carrier facility in Texas. This hands-on role partners with the engineering team to support tooling, improve lines and troubleshoot processes.

You will lead equipment commissioning, startup and process validation activities, maintain process documentation and drive root-cause analysis for line

Qualifications

  • Technical/associate degree or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of experience as a manufacturing or process technician.
  • Blueprints, process sheets and work instructions reading.
  • Hands-on experience with Lean tools (5S, standard work) and floor problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Leads maintenance, adjustment and fine-tuning of equipment, fixtures and tooling while prioritizing safety.
  • Provides technical support to operations to maintain process standards and cycle times.
  • Performs tests, measurements, capability studies and process documentation.
  • Supports process-improvement and problem-solving projects on the floor.
  • Maintains process sheets, work instructions and visual aids.
  • Supports production line optimization and process validation activities.
