Job summary

CentroGIF is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician in North Liberty, IA for a full-time 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM). You will work hands-on with fixtures, welding, CNC programs, and process improvements to enhance quality, safety, and productivity.

Responsibilities include designing and improving fixtures, assisting with equipment installations, and analyzing root causes of issues. A high school diploma or GED is required, with welding experience and blueprint reading skills highly

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing, mechanical, or engineering environments preferred.
• Welding experience (MIG required; TIG preferred).
• Able to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• AutoCAD, CNC, machining, or manufacturing engineering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and improve fixtures, tools, and workstations.
• Assist with equipment installations and facility setup projects.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues using root cause analysis.
• Perform fabrication, welding, machining, and mechanical tasks.
• Support process improvements for safety, productivity, and quality.
• Assist with CNC programming and engineering projects as assigned.
