Job summary

Centro Inc. in North Liberty, IA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician for 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM). You will work hands-on with manufacturing equipment, fixtures, welding, CNC programs, and process improvements to boost quality, safety, and productivity.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
At least one year of applicable manufacturing, mechanical, or engineering experience.
MIG welding experience required; TIG welding preferred.
Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
Experience using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and improve manufacturing fixtures, tools, and workstations.
Assist with equipment installations and facility setup projects.
Troubleshoot manufacturing and processing issues using root cause analysis.
Perform fabrication, welding, machining, and mechanical tasks.
Support process improvement initiatives that enhance safety, productivity, and quality.
Assist with CNC programming and engineering projects as assigned.
