Job summary
Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer to lead the design and development of fixtures for manufacturing, assembly, welding, and inspection. You will produce complete 3D fixture layouts with GD&T and collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate concepts and support shop floor trials.
The role emphasizes process capability, standardized work instructions, and ongoing lean improvements across production lines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in industrial/manufacturing engineering required.
- Shopfloor experience mandatory.
- Fixture design and manufacturing experience required.
- Ability to develop work instructions and standard work.
- Experience with time studies and line balancing helpful.
- Lean manufacturing and value stream mapping knowledge preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of fixtures using SolidWorks.
- Create 3D layouts, assemblies, and GD&T drawings.
- Collaborate with manufacturing/quality to validate concepts and support trials.
- Drive productivity via fixture solutions and process improvements.
- Develop standard work instructions including safety considerations.
- Identify improvement opportunities across lines and map Value Streams.
- Perform time studies and line balancing analyses.
- Propose root cause analysis for quality issues and kaizen actions.
- Support fixture design per requirements.
