Job summary

Diamond Foundry is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor to bridge Engineering and Production. You will translate processes, tooling, and work instructions into stable, documented manufacturing operations, lead a small engineering-technic­ian team, and own the SOP/traveler library with ISO 9001 compliance.

You will oversee yield tracking, data-driven improvement, and continuous safety and process design on the Fremont floor, Mon-Fri.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 3+ years manufacturing experience, or 6+ years of related manufacturing engineering/advanced technician experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading technicians or a small technical team in a high-growth environment.
• Practical command of yield analysis, defect Pareto, root cause methods, and basic SPC; proficient with Google Workspace and MES for data integrity and metric reporting.
• Experience authoring and maintaining SOPs, work instructions, and travelers under ISO 9001 and change control.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to present yield performance to senior management and run productive shift handoffs.

Responsibilities

• Process Ownership & Engineering Handoff: accept new/revised processes with complete documentation, trained operators, verified tooling, demonstrated run rates.
• Team Leadership & Development: supervise and develop engineering technicians, set priorities, manage qualification/cross-training to ensure process-area depth.
• Yield Tracking & Data Ownership: own yield and scrap reporting by tool/lot/shift; identify excursions and drive corrective actions; report trends to leadership.
• Documentation & Change Control: own SOPs, travelers, and process specs; maintain revision control per ISO 9001; ensure training records are current.
• Continuous Improvement & Safe Process Design: lead Lean/5S improvements; ensure hazards are reviewed and EHS requirements enforced.
