Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor - Electrical

Position Summary:

Lead and support manufacturing engineering activities within assigned cells, including driving lean initiatives, managing Engineering Change Orders, optimizing inventory, conducting contract reviews, developing shop floor instructions, validating labor standards, and overseeing capital projects.

What You Will Do:

• Supervise manufacturing engineering to support production cells
• Collaborate to achieve operational metrics and address issues
• Maintain updates on engineering tasks
• Represent engineering in meetings
• Design or specify equipment and tooling
• Review and support Engineering Change Notices and production implementation
• Assign locators to parts
• Create shop floor instructions and train personnel
• Update layouts and maps
• Manage capital and equipment upgrades
• Implement lean initiatives
• Foster continuous improvement and teamwork
• Participate in problem-solving teams
• Conduct process observations and resource planning
• Validate routings and manage change requests
• Participate in contract reviews and audits

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years electrical engineering experience in manufacturing, supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in electrical CAD software and circuit design
• Excellent communication and training skills
• Familiarity with ECNs, ECRs, and manufacturing assessments related to electrical systems
