Job summary

Narda-MITEQ in Hauppauge, NY is seeking a Specialist, Manufacturing Engineering to lead the development of prototype and production manufacturing processes. The role covers equipment, tooling, test fixtures, and part/assembly travelers to support fast-paced production environments.

Responsibilities include supporting New Product Introduction, creating detailed work instructions, and driving improvements in safety, quality, and cost while collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing best practices and process documentation.
• Ability to exchange information clearly with multiple stakeholders.
• Background in development of prototype and production processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop prototype and production manufacturing processes including equipment and tooling.
• Support New Product Introduction with new equipment/processes and DFM.
• Create detailed manufacturing instructions and travelers for parts and assemblies.
• Support production cells focused on thick film, thin film, substrate manufacturing, and electroplating.
• Evaluate processes to ensure quality and safety; drive continuous improvements.
