Job summary

NukeMed Technologies, a growing CDMO with multiple Indiana production sites, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support engineers with documentation, equipment setup, and quality checks on the production floor. The role involves data collection, process qualification support, and assisting with NPI activities.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree in a manufacturing-related field and hands-on shop experience, with proficiency in CAD/ERP tools and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certificate in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering Technology, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle NetSuite or similar) and CAD tools (SolidWorks) is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with MS Word/Excel and basic computer skills is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist manufacturing engineers with creating and maintaining manufacturing documentation (work instructions, routings, BOMs).
• Evaluate ECOs for manufacturing impact and help reconcile changes affecting production.
• Support setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of manufacturing/test equipment on the floor.
• Perform first article inspections and in‑process quality checks per drawings and specs.
• Assist with FAT/SAT and process qualification activities, including data collection and results documentation.
• Assist with New Product Introduction by building fixtures, conducting trial builds, and documenting findings for engineering review.
• Collect time/material data to support ERP accuracy.
• Support process improvement by documenting current-state processes and implementing approved changes.
• Maintain inventory accuracy on the production floor and communicate issues to production staff.
