Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Greenville, Texas, is seeking a Specialist, Manufacturing Engineering to analyze and design sequences of operations, improve plant efficiencies, and optimize layouts to maximize utilization of facilities and personnel.

The role involves conducting cost/schedule studies, supporting facility modifications, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements; Lean Six Sigma experience and SAP BW knowledge are highly valued, with security clearance

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field with a minimum of 4 years of related experience or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
Experience with Lean Six Sigma project management.
Preferred: Black Belt or Green Belt, Lean Certification.

Responsibilities

Analyze and design sequences of operations and workflows to improve efficiencies in plant/production facilities.
Establish methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
Conduct cost/schedule control, cost reduction, and inventory control studies.
Develop and implement plans for facility modifications and revised operating methods.
Assist facilities engineers in design and planning of facility infrastructure.
