Job summary

Arthrex, Inc. in Santa Barbara, CA is seeking a Project Manager for Manufacturing Engineering to oversee projects from initiation to execution.

The role focuses on time, budget, and resource allocation across the Operations life cycle, with emphasis on continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration. The position requires 2 years of PM or related engineering experience, knowledge of medical device regulations, and the ability to lead complex teams on engineered changes and new product

Qualifications

• 2 years of project management or equivalent technical experience required.
• Experience in Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering required.
• Medical device manufacturing knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages projects/departmental objectives within the scope of the Operations Organization.
• Develops project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans with management and stakeholders.
• Determines project schedule by studying plans, estimating time, and sequencing milestones.
• Maintains multiple project schedules by monitoring progress and coordinating activities.
• Develop V&V / Production Readiness Objectives for assigned projects per Arthrex Quality System requirements.
• Communicates project status to management against metrics and constraints.
• Experience using project management software tools (e.g., Workfront) for scheduling and coordination.
