Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device leader seeking a Manager - Manufacturing Engineering to guide a team supporting Suture Assembly Manufacturing Operations in Ave Maria, Florida.

The role oversees engineers in developing, implementing, and improving processes across suture needle attaching, assembly, automation, and fixture design, with emphasis on quality and throughput. The ideal candidate has a engineering degree and 7 years of manufacturing engineering/operations experience plus 3

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or closely related field required.
• 7 years Manufacturing Engineering/Manufacturing Operations experience required.
• 3 years supervisory or management experience required.
• Medical Device Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Full working knowledge in Design for Six Sigma, and Lean Six Sigma Manufacturing Techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement processes across suture needle attaching and assembly.
• Improve automation, fixture design, and engineering change management.
• Lead a team of manufacturing engineers for operational excellence.
• Ensure quality, throughput and process capability in a regulated environment.
• Apply analytical methods and project management to deliver reliable results.
• Identify and mitigate sources of variation in equipment and processes.
• Maintain compliance with organizational objectives and customer focus.
