The role focuses on developing and improving processes for suture needle attaching, suture assembly, automation, fixture design, and change management. The ideal candidate will have a engineering degree, 7+ years in manufacturing engineering/ Operations, and at least 3 years in supervision, with a preference for medical device

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team supporting Suture Assembly Manufacturing Operations.

  • Oversee engineering change management, fixture design, and automation.
  • Ensure quality, throughput, and process capability in a regulated environment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver reliable, repeatable results.

Education And Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or closely related field or equivalent Arthrex experience required
  • 7 years Manufacturing Engineering/Manufacturing Operations experience required
  • 3 years supervisory or management experience required
  • Medical Device Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
Knowledge And Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses And/or Training
  • Full working knowledge in Design for Six Sigma, and Lean Six Sigma Manufacturing Techniques.
  • Demonstrates process improvement skills.
  • Demonstrates strong computer skills.
Machine, Tools, And/or Equipment Skills

Knowledge of all manufacturing machines.

Language And Communication Skills

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
