Arthrex, Inc. in Ave Maria, FL, seeks a Manager QC - Medical Device Manufacturing to lead quality control activities for our manufacturing facility. You will manage staff, drive continuous improvement, and ensure products meet safety and efficacy standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 5 years in medical device quality systems and 3+ years supervisory experience; strong leadership, communication, and knowledge of ISO/FDA standards. On-site work with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5 years of related experience in quality systems, quality control, and/or quality engineering in medical device manufacturing.
• 3+ years supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Leads, manages, and coaches QC staff to monitor and improve performance and product quality inspection methods.
• Drives evaluation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of QC inspection methods and efficiency.
• Reviews NCRs, CAPAs, Deviations, and other Quality System inputs using established procedures.
• Ensures nonconforming material is identified, documented, and communicated for timely resolution.
• Ensures QC inspection plans and tests are developed, implemented, maintained, and use statistics where appropriate.
• Responsible for First Article Inspections for new/modified articles.
• Ensures employees are properly trained and maintains departmental efficiency goals.
• Reviews and approves applicable Quality System documents.
• Collaborates with other departments to ensure effective execution of the quality system.
• Ensures compliance within the functional area.
