Job summary

Toledo Tool & Die seeks an Engineering Manager to lead manufacturing engineering and maintenance for stamping and assembly at the Maumee facility. You will provide technical leadership for process development, automation, and continuous improvement while ensuring safe, cost-effective operations.

You will oversee coil-fed and transfer press activities, equipment reliability, and the integration of stamped parts into downstream assembly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience; or 10+ years of equivalent manufacturing experience in lieu of degree.
• 3-5 years of leadership experience managing engineering or technical teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in cross-functional manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 quality systems.
• Strong understanding of stamping and assembly processes, materials, and inspection methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing and automation engineers, maintenance staff, and technical personnel.
• Develop and continuously improve manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to achieve production goals and resolve technical issues.
• Support new product launches, engineering changes, and capital projects from concept to production.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, cost reduction, and process capability.
