Job summary

Klute, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead production improvement and capital projects across the organization. This role blends engineering with continuous improvement to design processes, evaluate new equipment, and drive plant expansion initiatives.

The candidate will work with ownership and cross-functional teams to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and throughput while supporting Klute's growth plans. Strong leadership and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering or heavy manufacturing experience.
• Experience leading manufacturing process improvements.
• Experience managing capital equipment projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
• Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, improve workflow, and increase productivity.
• Develop standardized work instructions and implement process improvements that enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Lead equipment purchases, installations, and capital projects from concept through commissioning.
• Design production layouts using CAD to optimize material flow and manufacturing efficiency.
• Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality to solve manufacturing challenges.
• Lead Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and process improvement initiatives.
