Kelvion Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and optimize processes, equipment, and capital projects to boost safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

The role combines engineering know-how with project management to lead from concept through handoff, collaborating with Operations, Quality, Design Engineering, and Supply Chain. Experience in heat exchanger or related heavy fabrication environments is valued; CAD/layout skills and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering or related industrial experience.
• PMP certification or formal project management training is a plus.
• Strong project management skills with schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and cross-functional teams.
• Experience developing or improving manufacturing processes in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, improve, and standardize manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, productivity, capacity, and cost.
• Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to reduce cycle time, labor hours, material handling, rework, and other forms of waste.
• Develop manufacturing concepts, process flows, workstation layouts, tooling, fixtures, and material handling solutions.
• Establish and maintain standard work, manufacturing routings, labor standards, work instructions, and process documentation.
• Perform capacity analysis, time studies, line balancing, and bottleneck analysis to support production requirements.
• Support manufacturing floor layout development and implementation of new or modified production areas.
• Provide technical support to Operations, Quality, Design Engineering, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and other functions.
• Lead manufacturing engineering and capital projects from concept through implementation and operational hand off.
• Develop and manage project schedules and action-item trackers to ensure commitments are completed on time.
• Support new product introduction and design-for-manufacturability reviews.
