Job summary

Toshiba America Energy Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the Milwaukee service center team, driving safety, engagement, quality, and cost improvements. You will define manufacturing processes, BOMs, and labor estimates, collaborating with Purchasing, Operations, Quality, and Sales.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, lean implementation, and staff development, with responsibility for mid-long term CAPEX planning and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• MS or MBA is preferred for advanced technical leadership.
• Minimum three years of leadership experience.
• Experience with scheduling tools like MS Project or equivalents.
• Experience with Oracle EBS and BOM/Manufacturing data structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and technicians to optimize and upgrade equipment.
• Design and improve production machinery for safety, quality and cost.
• Support budget and standards preparation and bid discussions.
• Drive cost-reduction projects aligned to plant goals.
• Plan and manage CAPEX, long-term investments and obsolescence.
• Assess resource needs, labor loading, and schedules for sustaining engineering.
• Lead risk reduction and process improvements for new manufacturing methods.
