Job summary

Toshiba America Energy Systems is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead the Generator Service Department at the Milwaukee Service Center. You will oversee staff, production schedules, safety, quality, and budget adherence while driving efficiency and continuous improvement.

The role requires a strong background in manufacturing supervision, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate with Human Resources on staffing and development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Operations preferred.
• 2–5 years of supervisor experience in a Manufacturing or Services environment.
• Experience with generator rotors or stators preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an effective organizational structure for department personnel.
• Manage safety, environmental, and quality procedures and processes compliance.
• Administer company rules, policies, and ethics concerning employment.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate department labor to fulfill customers’ orders and project schedules.
• Monitor production efficiency and productivity metrics; adjust resources as needed.
• Supervise, coach, and develop staff including annual appraisals.
