Southco Inc. is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead metal manufacturing and final assembly operations. You will guide a talented engineering team, champion automation, and drive continuous improvement to lower costs, raise quality, and support new product launches.

This is a high-impact leadership role shaping manufacturing strategy and bringing new technology to the shop floor. Compensation ranges from $130,000 to $160,000 annually with a 20% broad-based bonus.

Competenze

BSME degree required.
7+ years manufacturing engineering experience.
7+ years engineering management experience.
Hands-on experience in metal manufacturing, assembly, and finishing.
Experience with ISO/QS 9001 and quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, DOE.
Proficiency with CAD.

Mansioni

Lead engineering team and drive automation projects to improve efficiency, quality and cost.
Shape manufacturing strategy with leadership, including capacity planning and equipment investment.
Support NPI launches with cross-functional teams and manufacturability focus.
Optimize operations and layouts to shorten lead times and improve throughput.
Lead capital investment planning and secure approvals for new equipment.
Champion quality and safety across the facility and with external stakeholders.
