Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Electrical Engineering or similar engineering discipline.
• Knowledge of engineering practices, procedures, and manufacturing processes.
• Basic understanding of automation, fluid power, electrical, electronic and electronic control systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams.
• A self-starter able to work independently and resolve technical manufacturing issues.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, eDrawings.
• Strong computer skills with knowledge of Office365 applications including Outlook, Chrome, Edge, One Drive, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Break down customer’s documentation package and enter BOM into ERP for quoting and estimation.
• Contribute to design inputs and manufacturability of products and systems.
• Support all phases of product lifecycle from design to re-work.
• Create manufacturing instructions, test procedures and packaging specs to ensure customer requirements.
• Collaborate with vendors, sales, engineering and customers to resolve manufacturability and design issues.
• Maintain Documentation Control of files and drawings for production, within company protocol.
• Manage New Production Introduction (NPI) jobs, scheduling and material status.
• Produce detailed manufacturing work instructions when feasible.
• Initiate Engineering Change Orders due to design or process changes.
• Generate cost Analysis reports for materials and labor using Excel.
