SUS – McHenry is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Maintenance Technician for our Spring Grove, IL facility. The role supports troubleshooting, installation, and preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a 1st shift setting.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of proven experience in electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fields.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environment is required.
• Ability to interpret prints, sketches, verbal instructions and data.
• Must be highly safety conscious.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment, AC/DC motors & controllers, and machine wiring.
• Plans and performs work with knowledge of electrical codes and materials.
• Installs, starts up, and shuts down equipment following safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Advise operators on safe operation and requirements for equipment.
• Maintains maintenance records and performs preventive maintenance.
