Job summary

Tecomet Inc. is seeking a Principal Manufacturing Engineer to lead and optimize manufacturing processes across plant operations.

You will drive systemic improvements, manage projects, and collaborate with AME, NPI, and production teams to meet product specifications while controlling costs. The role requires Lean Six Sigma expertise, deep knowledge of metallurgy, CAD/CAM, GD&T, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or related field preferred.
• 12+ years of related experience in manufacturing environment.
• US Citizen, green card holder or other ITAR authorization.

Responsibilities

• Independently lead projects and teams to analyze problems and implement solutions to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Maximize operational efficiencies by analyzing equipment layout, workflow, methods, and workforce utilization.
• Create, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods using materials, tooling, and production capabilities.
• Determine processes and tools needed to meet manufacturing goals per product specs.
• Lead or assist with resource planning and CAPEX for new products/processes.
