Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead testing and validation at the Tucson Proving Ground in Green Valley, AZ.

This role drives manufacturing processes, continuous improvement, and operational excellence to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable test data for engineering decisions. You will lead Lean, Six Sigma, and Built-In Quality initiatives, partner with Operations and Engineering, and manage capital projects to enhance site capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing engineering, operations, and quality leadership.
• Strong understanding of ISO-based Quality Management Systems (ISO 17025 preferred).
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and system-level interactions.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing and operational processes for testing, validation, and services.
• Drive safety, quality, efficiency, throughput, and cost reduction.
• Improve workflow design, resource utilization, and execution effectiveness.
• Develop and implement standard work, process controls, and operating procedures.
• Support facility planning, equipment readiness, and capital projects.
• Identify and implement new technologies, tooling and fixturing opportunities.
