Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Manager in Miamisburg, OH to lead an 11-person team and drive efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery. The role reports to the Director of Operations and requires hands-on leadership to mentor engineers and technicians across multiple disciplines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, program management for large-scale projects, and a proven track record of Lean/Six Sigma improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple engineering groups to solve complex issues.
• Experience mentoring engineers and technicians.
• Proven leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Manufacturing Engineering department to drive efficiency and productivity.
• Manage hiring, training, performance reviews, and career development.
• Develop budgets, strategic goals, and annual planning.
• Provide regular status reports on programs and cross-functional projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, yield, and cost within the plant.
• Ensure compliance with schedules, budgets, and corporate policies.
• Foster Lean/Six Sigma culture and continuous improvement initiatives.
