Job summary

SPG is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead engineering activities across current programs and upcoming product launches at our LaGrange, GA facility, on-site.

You will manage a team of engineers, build budgets, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety and quality standards across multiple projects. Strong shop-floor experience and leadership are essential for delivering results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) required.
• Experience with precision stamping or molding preferred.
• Strong background in Lean Manufacturing and CI with proven implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers, providing direction, training, and performance evaluation.
• Build and manage the engineering budget (fixed and capital).
• Oversee cost and manpower across projects and lead new product launches.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing process standards and best practices.
• Drive development and improvement of engineering processes, structure, and performance.
• Specify and oversee project management practices and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations on the shop floor.
