Job summary

Software Placement Group (SPG) is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for an on-site role in the Atlanta area. You will plan and design manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and support production goals at a plant site in the southwest Atlanta metro area.

Responsibilities include tooling design with SolidWorks, driving productivity, and performing root cause analysis using Lean methods. Requires a bachelor's degree and 3+ years' manufacturing engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years in manufacturing engineering environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving.
• Proficiency with 3D modeling tools (SolidWorks) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Design production tooling and processes for new and existing products.
• Implement productivity improvements on production lines.
• Conduct root cause analysis using statistics and lean methods.
• Lead or support design reviews and FMEA activities.
• Develop work instructions and BOMs; manage parts inventories.
