Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial preferred).
• 7+ years in Manufacturing Engineering of metal and assembly environments.
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Lean, Six Sigma, operational excellence knowledge preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills; ability to lead.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily engineering support and long-term planning of plant operations.
• Coordinate activities with other management personnel; see the bigger business picture.
• Ensure process optimization, quality and profitability.
• Assist New Products team to ensure manufacturability of new products.
• Keep management informed and propose solutions to obstacles.
• Lead recruitment, professional development, goal setting, and performance management procedures.
• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
