Job summary

GE Aerospace invites you to join our Manufacturing Engineering Internship program, offering a strong technical foundation in manufacturing and assembly processes. The role supports new product integration, Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, and cost-out efforts while preparing you for MEDP/OMLP after graduation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Attending a full-time registered and nationally accredited bachelor or graduate program.
• Willingness and ability to work in any of the 35+ GE Aerospace U.S. locations.
• Reliable transportation, as many sites do not have public transit.

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand state-of-the-art methods of manufacturing.
• Support manufacturing and repair processes for component hardware and engine assembly.
• Maintain high-quality standards via risk assessment, root cause analysis, corrective action and statistical controls.
• Ensure safe work conditions via EHS initiatives.
• Learn and apply Lean and Six Sigma to drive productivity and on-time delivery.
• Support delivery efforts for sourced components by working with shops and suppliers.
