Job summary

GE Aerospace invites applicants for a Manufacturing Engineering Internship to build a strong technical foundation in manufacturing and assembly. You will support processes, apply Lean and Six Sigma, and learn to improve productivity, quality, and on-time delivery. This internship can lead to GE MEDP/OMLP after graduation.

Eligible students must maintain a 3.0 GPA, be enrolled full-time in an accredited program, and be willing to work at one of GE's 35+ U.S. locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Enrolled in a full-time registered bachelor or graduate program (majors listed).
• Willingness to work in any of GE's 35+ U.S. locations.
• Reliable transportation to site locations.

Responsibilities

• Learn state-of-the-art manufacturing methods.
• Support manufacturing and repair processes for components and engine assembly.
• Maintain quality via risk assessment, RCA, corrective actions, and statistical controls.
• Ensure safe work conditions through EHS initiatives.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma to drive productivity and on-time delivery.
• Support delivery efforts for sourced components and build project management skills.
