Job summary

GE Aerospace is offering a Manufacturing Engineering Internship to build a strong technical foundation in manufacturing and assembly processes. You will learn state-of-the-art methods, support engine assembly, and participate in continuous improvement projects to drive productivity and quality.

This internship serves as a stepping stone toward MEDP or OMLP programs after graduation, with exposure to lean principles, process capability, and cross-functional collaboration on a fast-paced shop

Qualifications

• Pursuing a full-time registered bachelor’s or graduate program in an engineering discipline.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
• Willingness to work at 35+ GE Aerospace U.S. locations.
• Reliable transportation for site locations.

Responsibilities

• Learn state-of-the-art manufacturing methods.
• Support manufacturing and repair processes for engine assembly components.
• Maintain quality via risk assessment, RCA, corrective action, and statistical controls.
• Ensure safe work conditions through EHS initiatives.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma to drive productivity and on-time delivery.
• Support delivery for sourced components; build project management and negotiation skills.
