Job summary

You will develop process knowledge, assist in creating travelers and work instructions, and collaborate with quality and engineering teams to optimize safety and efficiency.

You will work toward a bachelor’s degree in engineering, apply fundamentals to real testing problems, and gain hands-on experience with SolidWorks and MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Working toward a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles and exposure to planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Knowledge of engineering fundamentals and testing problems with equipment interfaces and human factors.
• Ability to perform engineering calculations for product development and testing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior experience with SolidWorks.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop product and process knowledge to support manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in creating and revising manufacturing travelers, routers, and work instructions to improve process accuracy and efficiency.
• Support evaluation and disposition of non-conforming materials, products, and equipment with quality and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with Product Line, Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to support product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in root cause analysis and troubleshooting activities to resolve product and process failures.
• Collect and analyze production and quality data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
• Contribute to scrap reduction and continuous improvement projects through process optimization and data-driven problem solving.
