Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with anticipated graduation between December 2027 and May 2029 (rising junior or rising senior).
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Available to work full-time for 12 weeks during summer 2027.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Preferred majors: chemical, mechanical, industrial, manufacturing engineering.
• Strong communication skills are most important.

Responsibilities

• Learn and document manufacturing processes, workflows, and quality standards across operational areas.
• Engage with operators and cross-functional team members to understand challenges and identify improvement opportunities.
• Create process maps and workflows for each assigned area following on-the-job training and observation.
• Analyze production issues and recommend practical solutions to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and performance.
• Identify and develop at least two continuous improvement projects with measurable business impact.
• Assist with project planning, tracking, and execution to ensure successful implementation of improvement initiatives.
• Lead or support the execution of approved improvement projects from concept through completion.
• Present project results, key findings, and recommendations to plant leadership and stakeholders.
