Job summary

Antares is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to help develop and release manufacturing instructions for development and test hardware. You will participate in planning test builds, create CONOPS, and perform hands-on assembly and testing under engineering supervision.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Hands-on experience through coursework or projects.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly in instructions and updates.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hands-on manufacturing and test environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, revise, and release clear manufacturing work instructions for development and test hardware.
• Plan and execute test builds including materials, tools, sequencing, and documentation.
• Create concepts of operations (CONOPS) defining objectives, roles, workflow, safety, and outcomes.
• Lead portions of test/development builds under guidance of manufacturing engineers.
• Perform hands-on assembly, integration, inspection, and test support.
• Capture build data, deviations, and lessons learned to improve instructions and processes.
• Collaborate with design, test, quality, and operations to resolve issues and improve manufacturability.
