Job summary

Antares in Torrance, CA seeks a Software Engineering Intern to help develop embedded software, perform hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing, and contribute to system telemetry and monitoring. You will gain hands-on experience across software and hardware, with mentorship and real project deliverables.

You’ll work with the Software team on embedded code, hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing, diagnostics, and tools while collaborating across departments in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in at least a bachelor’s degree program and going into Junior or Senior year
• Must have internship or significant project/research experience

Responsibilities

• Support development, debugging, and testing of embedded software with hardware interfaces
• Perform hands-on testing of hardware-in-the-loop environments
• Reproduce and investigate software/hardware issues and document findings
• Improve test coverage and validation processes
• Improve telemetry and system monitoring from source to destination
• Integrate signals into HMI and Grafana for monitoring and troubleshooting
