Job summary

Polyconcept North America (PCNA) is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op intern to assist in designing fixtures and tooling for critical processes at our New Kensington, PA site. You will document repeatable workflows and contribute to a design guide to ensure consistent quality.

You'll gain hands-on experience with 2D/3D drafting, Solidworks, and cross-functional teamwork on process-improvement initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and eager to learn.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities are expected.
• Experience with Solidworks and drafting tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design manufacturing tooling for new products using machined or additive processes.
• Help develop tooling standards and document procedures for process equipment.
• Maintain tooling/fixture records and support cross-functional improvement projects.
• Assist with inventory records and safety-focused documentation.
