Job summary

Hendrickson in Canton, Ohio is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Co-op student to gain hands-on experience in tooling design, 3D modeling, and shop-floor-to-office communication.

You will contribute to assembly and packaging processes, develop tooling for safety and throughput, and participate in design reviews within the Manufacturing Engineering department. This paid co-op offers real-world, hands-on experience and exposure to multi-location collaboration.

Qualifications

• Working towards a bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Mechanical Aptitude.
• Demonstrate excellent problem solving and communication skills.

• Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain assembly and packaging processes, drafting instructions to support manufacturing, engineering changes, and new product development.
• Develop tooling to improve safety and throughput in manufacturing plants.
• Develop 3D modeling and drafting skills per company standards.
• Participate in weekly meetings to improve communication among locations.
• Participate in concept and design reviews for Manufacturing Engineering.
