Job summary

Watts Water Technologies in Germantown, WI seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Co-op for Jan–Jun/Aug 2027. You’ll work with the Manufacturing Engineering team to support production operations, improve processes, and sustain equipment, gaining hands-on experience in a real-world plant environment.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you’ll help troubleshoot issues, participate in capital projects, support continuous improvement, and collaborate with Operations, Quality, and

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering or related discipline.
• Understanding of Lean fundamentals and problem-solving methods.
• Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the production floor team by troubleshooting production issues and providing technical expertise.
• Assist in developing and executing capital projects to improve processes.
• Assist in continuous improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and costs.
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to align processes with business goals.
• Develop and maintain process documentation such as SOPs and process flow diagrams.
• Provide training to shop floor team members.
• Participate in kaizen events and follow-up actions.
