Job summary

Molex, a Koch company, seeks a motivated Engineering Co-op to support the Copper Solutions team in Lisle, IL or Harrisburg, PA. Work with engineering, operations, quality, and manufacturing to advance product development and process improvement while continuing your studies.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an engineering degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA, able to work onsite during the academic year, and possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline; GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in Lisle, IL or Harrisburg, PA during the academic year.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; effective verbal and written communication.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering and manufacturing projects focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost improvements.
• Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting production and process data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Participate in troubleshooting manufacturing, equipment, and process-related issues.
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation, work instructions, technical reports, and process procedures.
• Support product validation, testing activities, and data collection efforts.
• Create and update process flows, standard work documentation, and visual management tools.
• Utilize engineering problem-solving methodologies to support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
