Job summary

Molex, a Koch company, is seeking a highly motivated Engineering Co-op to join our Copper Solutions team in Lisle, IL or Harrisburg, PA. This part-time, onsite role supports product development, manufacturing, and process improvement, offering hands-on engineering experience while you complete your degree.

The position focuses on supporting safety, quality, productivity, and cost improvements, with exposure to design, manufacturing processes, quality systems, and project management.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Materials Engineering.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Ability to work onsite in Lisle, IL or Harrisburg, PA during the academic year.
• Part-time (15–25 hours/week) internship/co-op in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering and manufacturing projects focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost improvements.
• Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting production and process data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Participate in troubleshooting manufacturing, equipment, and process-related issues.
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation, work instructions, technical reports, and process procedures.
• Support product validation, testing activities, and data collection efforts.
• Create and update process flows, standard work documentation, and visual management tools.
