Job summary

Molex, a Koch Company, is offering Engineering Interns for Summer 2027 at our Rochester Hills, MI headquarters. This 12-week program runs from late May to mid-August 2027, with in-person assignments across Mechanical, Electrical, and Industrial Engineering disciplines.

Interns will work on CAD design, process automation, time studies, and quality analyses to support innovation and reliability, and may receive a full-time offer based on performance.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a STEM degree or equivalent program.
• Eligible for full-time employment on or before Summer 2029.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Working in CAD software to design electronic connectors
• Automation of processes and standardized reporting.
• Time studies and lean process improvement to achieve operational excellence.
• Ability to provide solutions to a wide variety of engineering problems.
• Lab testing & quality analysis for connector/cable products
• Apply statistical analysis to time sensitive data to observe relationships and identify potential opportunities for improvement within a connector system.
• Work closely with individual team members to perform hands-on tasks to ensure accurate completion of objectives.
